Hangzhou Times Establishes “Times Scholarship” to Support Outstanding Students in Jingdong


Times Scholarship Award Ceremony Successfully Held at Jingdong Zhejiang University Qiushi High School

On December 5, 2025, the Times Scholarship Award Ceremony was successfully held in the lecture hall of Jingdong Zhejiang University Qiushi High School.
The event was attended by Ji Xiangming, Deputy County Mayor of Jingdong County People’s Government; Zhang Yiming, Principal of Jingdong Zhejiang University Qiushi High School; members of the Zhejiang University Graduate Volunteer Teaching Corps, and other distinguished guests. The ceremony was hosted by Corps Leader Dai Rongjie.

In his opening speech, Deputy County Mayor Ji Xiangming expressed sincere gratitude on behalf of the county government to Hangzhou Times Import & Export Co., Ltd. for their generous support. He encouraged the scholarship recipients to cherish this opportunity, study diligently, remain grateful, and grow into strong contributors who will one day serve their hometown and society.

Corporate Donation: Continuous Support for Education

During the ceremony, Hangzhou Times Import & Export Co., Ltd. donated RMB 60,000 to establish the Times Scholarship, designed to reward students who excel in both character and academic performance.
The scholarship will be distributed over a three-year period, demonstrating the company’s long-term commitment to educational development and ongoing care for students in Jingdong.

Representative Tu Zexi from the volunteer teaching corps presented the donation plaque to Principal Zhang Yiming, marking the official commencement of the scholarship program.

Deputy County Mayor Ji Xiangming, Principal Zhang Yiming, Student Affairs Director Zhu Xiang, and teaching corps member Teacher Ke Yunshu collectively presented the 2025 Times Scholarship Certificates to the award recipients, extending congratulations for their outstanding achievements.

In his concluding remarks, Principal Zhang Yiming congratulated the scholarship recipients and encouraged them to appreciate the deeper meaning behind “Times”—a reminder of the support and care offered by the community, the government, and caring enterprises. He urged students to transform this care into motivation, striving to become individuals who inspire and uplift others.

He also expressed heartfelt appreciation to Hangzhou Times Import & Export Co., Ltd. for the company’s dedication to public welfare and continued support for children in China’s western mountainous regions.
